Behind the Lens: Fresh Work for Lucky Bastard Custom Boots
Our favorite projects are the ones where we get to grow alongside our clients. Lucky Bastard Custom Boots has been part of the One Ton family for a long time, so we were thrilled when owner Brian reached out with some major updates.
Between moving into a brand-new storefront in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood and bringing a new mascot onto the team, it was the perfect time to refresh their digital presence with a professional photoshoot.
Location, Location, Location
Our photographer, Christina, met up with Brian at the new shop near 16th and Boulder Street to capture the essence of the new space. Lucky Bastard is all about style, grit, and offering an incredible selection of high-quality, unique cowboy boots.
Christina focused on capturing the welcoming energy of the LoHi storefront, highlighting the curated displays of premium footwear and the overall atmosphere Brian has built. These new photos will be used for an upcoming website refresh, to give website visitors a real sense of what it feels like to step inside the shop.
Introducing the New Mascot: Lucky
While a beautiful new storefront is exciting, the real star of the photoshoot was undeniably Lucky.
Brian recently welcomed a new dog to the family, and the pup was fittingly named Lucky. As the official new mascot of the brand, Lucky spent the day hanging out during the shoot and posing like a natural. Including him in the imagery adds a layer of warmth and community connection that perfectly matches the neighborhood vibe.
Refreshing the Digital Front Door
Great photos do more than just look pretty on social media; they do heavy lifting for your business. We are using these fresh assets of Brian, Lucky, and the new space to completely update the Lucky Bastard website, ensuring the online experience feels just as inviting as visiting the Highlands storefront in person.
When you combine unique, premium boots, a beautiful new Highlands space, and a very good dog, the creative process is easy.
Keep an eye out for the new website updates, and next time you are in the neighborhood, stop by the shop to check out the new setup and give Lucky a scratch behind the ears.
